The New T Mobile G 1 ( Google ) Phone

I have to admit that when I first heard about The New T Mobile G1 (Google) Phone I was a little skeptic. I mean come-on a Google Phone? What's next? As you well know Google practically owns half the web ( LoL ) so it seems. Nevertheless, the minute I saw it, touched it, held it in my hands and played with it, I WAS IN LOVE!

I'm not kidding. I would not, could not put this phone down. It was like having the World wide web at my fingertips. My own personal assistant, my laptop and so much more.
The truth is these days it takes a lot to impress most of us with all the I Phones, Storms and curves being thrown our way. One of the first things that caught my eyes was the large, beautiful & crisp 3.2 " display screen. The touch-screen is quite easy to use. If you prefer you can just use the full five-row QWERTY keyboard. That means that with it's large screen, there is plenty of room to navigate, browse, respond to emails, messages, chat and just about anything you can think of doing at your laptop or Pc.
Yet this phone ( I feel bad calling it that ) actually does blow you away because is so simple to use. For one, it is super quick using 3G network. The G1 lets you surf various websites at the same time and the browser browser comes with a multi-page window pane.

The applications on it such as Android Market™ left my 14 year old daughter in love with it as well. Anytime during dinner time or shower ( I took it with me the first few days) anytime I put the phone down, she would play with it and I had trouble getting it back without a "Please Dad, let me finish" remark. One Kewl fact is that The Android Market is constantly being updated with the latest, new applications. At the touch of button one can easily download and install all of their favorite music, software or games and more. Of course this is made easier by the fully customizable home screen. The screen lets you put all the Kewl Gadgets online at your finger tips with the touch of a button. The ringtones are customizable. The speaker sound is so clear and crisp you think the band was playing live in your own phone. I have a Sidekick phone and though that phone sounds quite nice, the sound quality of the G1 is so much clearer, louder and captivating. The G1 is the only phone which has some of my favorite applications built in: Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Calendar. The fact that you can watch youtube all day is pretty awesome. Add to that the easy use your AIM account and so much more. You can save all of your contacts in case you lose your G1 (God Forbid)
One of the only drawbacks that I have with this phone is the battery life. Of course this is the price you pay for using the large 3.2" display screen. There's just so much to do on this phone that you will not want to put it down! I truly recommend this phone to any one thinking of getting a new phone. I will also add that since it's smaller, I kind of like it better than the Apple Iphone. Just my opinion guys, so all you Apple Iphone lovers, please don't send me hate mail!
Oops, I got to go now, My G1 is calling!

I recently had a friend looking to buy a digital camera and she requested my help in helping her choose one. "There's just so many to choose from now" she said to me with a puzzle look on her face. I know that feeling. The truth is that there are literally thousands of digital cameras to choose from now. Remember when it was simple? Well it's easy to see why any of us would be overwhelmed. She also reminded me that she had a $150 to $200 dollar budget.

I don't know about you guys, but I like to stick to what works. With that said I went ahead and searched for NIKON cameras.

The reason for this is because I already own a the Nikon D100. I've had it for a while now and this camera still demands respect among those that love photography. I also bought a Nikon CoolPix camera not too long ago for my daughter and she love it for the ease of use, the stunning pictures it takes and the fact that she was able to easily transfer photos back and forth from her various gadgets.
I decided to look into the Nikon Coolpix S560. I chose this camera for quite a few reasons. One, the price was well within her range. For two, the 10 mega pixels and 2.7-inch LCD. I also saw the ease of use as a plus as well.

The Panasonic Viera TC-P50S1 Plasma TV

I don’t know what it is about us Men and Plasma TV's, but each time I go to a site store like Amazon, Circuit City or Sears, I go directly to the TV section. The minute I laid eyes on Panasonic VIERA S1 Series Plasma TV I was blown away with it's in depth picture quality and style. Viewing the VIERA in HD will leave you breathless to say the least.

This TV is perfect for sports and cinema-quality movies. The Neo PDP technology delivers sharp, detailed images, deep blacks and remarkable brightness, and all with lower... power consumption.

I wanted it to add it to my cart right then and there but decided against it since I had just bought me an expensive man toy not too long ago (Tivo Dvr & a Surround sound system) Nevertheless I am very impressed with the overall quality of this TV and can only imagine how nice it will look once it's hanging on the wall of my living room.

Priced between $1,399.00 to $1,999.99 it's not cheap at all. There are models which cost less than this one, but most times you get what you pay for. You would really have to look and search around in order to find another plasma TV with the same or better picture quality as that of the Viera. the difference with the VIERA Plasma HDTV is that it ensures full-time 1080 TV lines of resolution, even during fast moving scenes in sports and movies. Not many other TV's can say the same.
Here are some of the features you get with this baby.

Panasonic VIERA G10 Series TC-P50G10 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

• Neo PDP screen provides brighter panel, Full-Time 1080 TV Lines Moving Picture Resolution, and Contrast Ratio of 40,000:1
• 50-inch plasma HDTV with full 1080p HD resolution and three HDMI inputs
• VIERA Image Viewer lets you share your digital photos with friends and family directly from SD cards
• 600Hz Sub-field Drive produces crisp, focused images for sports, dramatic action, and all other fast-moving scenes
• VIERA Link lets you control your compatible Panasonic DVD, Blu-ray Disc player, home theater sound system and HD camcorder, with a single remote
Even the remote is nothing short of amazing. When you press the on-screen display, a menu pops up and the Tools user interface menu comes up on the screen. Once you press a button on the remote control icons such as the photos or movies from the menu screen are shown. The possibilities are endless.

This TV is supposed to have 100.000 hours of life. That's about 30 years!! I don't know about you, but I can't see myself lasting that long with the same TV. Specially in this day and age where technology moves so fast. Who knows how we will be watching programs in 30 years. (Oops, off track) LOL.
For those of us that HATE having to search for three or four different remotes when we are going to watch a movie, With VIERA Link, you can control any Panasonic DVD recorder, or your Blu-ray Disc player. You can also control your home theater sound system as well as any HD camcorder you may have. All with a single remote and the helpful on-screen menus I mentioned. I believe you can also choose the connection method as far as --either an HDMI cable or the LAN cable--to better suit your devices and applications. Never again will you have to keep switching remotes to operate each device! I know as far as me, I have about six different remotes on top of my living room stand. Imagine my Glee when I found out there would be no more "remote switching"
Here's some other features I found out about the VIERA S1 series TV.

• Full-Time 1080 TV Lines Moving Picture Resolution
• 100,000 Hour Panel Life
• Brighter Panel
• 1080p Full-HD Resolution
• 3 HDMI Inputs
• VIERA Image Viewer
• VIERA Link
• Contrast Ratio: 40,000:1 Native; Infinite Black Panel
• Game Mode
• 600Hz Sub-field Drive
• AR (Anti-Reflective) Filter
All in all I must say that I will be holding off on buying any "Kewl Gadgets Online" for now so I can save up for this baby. Then again, who knows what tomorrow will bring?
Thanks for visiting our site and Have a Good one!
